Sweetwater I.P.A.

Time for another brew review! This time we're bringing out a great selection from one of my favorite breweries just south of us down in Aatlanta. I first got started drinking Sweetwater's beers in college since a bunch of my fraternity brothers were from Atlanta. Well unfortunately those days eventually came to an end and I had to get a job. I found myself back in Charlotte with no Sweetwater—tragedy! Thank goodness for the recent rise in popularity of microbrews that allowed my local grocer to begin stocking this delicacy. When I first noticed that we were able to get it on the regular I started drinking my favorite beer, (at the time) the 420 Pale Ale. However lately I've been drinking a bunch of their I.P.A. and it's really good! It's a great mid-priced I.P.A. and has supreme flavor with some strong hints of grapefruit. The I.P.A. is surprising pretty malty for a 6.7 ABV beer which I consider to be a good thing. The head did not last too long but left a nice, residual piney-citrus flavor in my mouth—this is great as this warmer weather approaches. This is not the best part of this brew. One of my best friends, Dan Baker, is employed by Sweetwater and keeps all their beers tasting great! I've linked his Facebook page so everyone go on there and message him about what a great job he's been doing and how much you enjoy his beers.

I will have to look for this one- I attended my first Master Scotch Taster class last night and we had an incredible Inn and Gunn beer that is aged in oak barrels. I am writing about that baby, man was it good!

I am not much of a drinker but during the hot summer I enjoy a cold glass of beer. Pity we don't get this in Greece.
Please come and collect an Award from my blog. Have a wonderful weekend.

I'm not a beer drinker, but I know my bro will appreciate this one. I wonder why beers never reveal their calorie contents!

Sweetwater looks very interesting. What other good bottles do they brew? I'm not such a fan of the IPA, so generally look for less hoppy beers.

Hmmm, unfortunately I am not a beer drinker, in fact I never had beer in my life before. I do though, drink wine ... a glass a day accompany my dinner. But, thank you for the review, I am sure it really useful for other.
Cheers,
